Meritage

The food here is pretty good (except for the disastrous monkfish -- stay away from it.) The service, however, was abysmal. After booking a reservation one month in advance for my wife's birthday in which I asked for the nicest table available, they proceeded to give us the worst seat in the house -- right next the kitchen -- even though the restaurant was half empty. Our waiter seemed preoccupied with others as well...we sat with empty wine glasses for a good 20 minutes at one point -- a mortal sin for a restaurant that bills itself as THE place for wine enthusiasts. I'm sure it's possible to have a good experience here, but ours was bad enough that Meritage doesn't deserve a second chance.

I don't believe you could say enough about this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the Wine list was impeccable. Completing our delightful experience was our waiter. 4 stars top to bottom!
