Boston Theater Marathon IX

It's a whirlwind tumble down the theatrical rabbit hole, representing the collaboration of 51 New England playwrights, 51 area theater companies, and more than a hundred actors (including Rob Rota and Deirdre McCarthy), and directors. Under the artistic direction of Kate Snodgrass, the Elliot Norton Award-winning Boston Theater Marathon presents a full day of 10-minute plays that will no doubt encompass both the ridiculous and the sublime. It's the largest gathering of professional theaters in New England, and participating playwrights range from emerging talents to some of the most respected playwrights in the area, such as Israel Horovitz, Leslie Epstein, Ed Bullins, Robert Brustein, Laura Harrington, Ronan Noone, and John Kuntz. All-day passes allow you to come and go. Pack some snacks and make a day (and night) of it.
