A really dumb place for a movie theatre. You shouldn't have to plan so much, worrying about if there is a game or what else is going on, just to see a movie. Sorry -my life does not revolve around football. Developers and town should address traffic needs but they only care about money. Just wait until the casino goes in - you won't be able to "plan" other than to stay as far away as possible at all times!

It's a perfectly nice movie theater.
Don't go during a game or a concert (duh).
The luxury is overpriced but sorta nice (isn't that almost the definition of luxury?)
It's actually kind of nice to have the theater in the vicinity of other stuff to do (within walking distance), you have some nice dinner choices at Patriot Place.

Good place for a movie. Again people plan ahead. You have to be crazy to come to patriot place on the Day of an event, patriots game or concert, you should know better. DOn't criticize a place because of your lack of poor planning. Its not fair. Patriot place is a great place, but go on the off hours and you'll be fine. Route 1 is always jammed no matter what during concerts and events. The bars and restaurants are just as packed with longer waits on game/event days. Please plan ahead and don't judge based on that. Come on an off peak time and you'll see its much better.
Its annoying when people criticize a place because of their lack of planning! I also don't see how you can give a place 1 star and say you'll never come to ANY of the establishments ever again because of one experience which you should have been more prepared for. Why do you come to patriot place or the theater on a event day? If you're any way familiar with Foxboro during concerts/football games etc. you'll know to steer clear of the area, unless you're going to the event. Come on an off day ! It will be much better and much easier for you to get in and out of the area. On an off day the bars, restaurants and such are fast and the mall is fun to explore. As well.
The movie theater is fine! I don't think it deserved one star because of your poor planning. I wouldn't get the de lux level thing but if you just go to a regular movie there it isn't a bad place to watch a show! In fact its less crowded than the average movie theater because it is still relatively new! Go in the off times too. for best results and quieter theaters. :-) For example I never go to ANY movie theater on Fri Sat or Sun :-)
Mon-Wed night is the best

Beware! My husband and I took in a 9:15 movie on Sat pm and we did not get home (to Westwood) until 1:15 am!!! A concert in the stadium ended and we were stuck in the parking lot for two hours!!!! We could not believe that a better plan was not in place. Clearly no thought was given to the Patriot Place patrons!!! We will never patronize any retail store or movie at Patriot Place again! If you dare to go - remember that I warned you!!!!

The idea of a premium theater is enticing, but the Cinema de Lux does not live up to expectations. The food was bland and dry. Waiters were constantly walking in front of the screen and talking to patrons throughout the movie. We asked to have our bill brought at the end of the movie instead of 20 minutes before the end, but our waiter showed up in the middle of an emotional, climactic scene to give us the bill and tell us that we "didn't need to pay until the end." They also don't turn down the theater lights entirely which, combined with the near-constant movement and talking of waiters, made it very difficult to get engrossed in the film.
The chairs were comfortable and the place definitely gave the impression of style and luxury. However, I wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend anyone waste the $18/ticket to see a movie at Cinema de Lux.
