Gloucester Horribles Parade and Fireworks (Canceled)

The 2009 Gloucester Horribles Parade begins at 6 p.m. followed by a harbor fireworks display at about 10 p.m. The parade departs Gloucester High School, and goes down Stacy Boulevard, Rogers Street, up Main Street, down Pleasant Street, Prospect Street, Railroad Avenue, Washington Street and back to the High School. The fireworks were canceled as of Friday afternoon. No rain date was scheduled, but the Gloucester Times reports event organizers will double up on fireworks for the Labor Day schooner festival.
