HELP!

Old building. A lot of little problems.
A lot of equipment. A few good staff trainer that know what they are talking about. The others are there just for the job; socialize, smile, etc.
Two swimming pools. Good but poorly staffed. The staff pours in the chlorine as a swimmer was going by. Oops! Talk to the assistant director and the director. They seemed to be lost. Communication problems, etc.
Good news. There are some very good swimming instructors.
Child care. Too many children and not enough staff. Thay have one teacher that comes in later. If you check it out, you will see that ratio doesn't meet state requirements. Somehow they get away with it by having these floaters.
Good news. The children can go to swimming class. However, only about 30 minutes. Each child can only get about a minute. Not the swimming instructors fault. The teacher walks away to talk to someone. However, she should be watching the kids.
There is a teacher that is very loud. Often walks away. I thinks she likes the sound of her own voice. However, when it is “pick up time”, she is all there. She is great! She puts her best effort forward. Too bad she doesn’t do it doing the day.
Playground... same problems, teachers walk away or huddle in a group talking about who knows what. Kids could be doing something very dangerous and the staff has no idea. The director seems to be nice but only tells you what you want to hear but seems afraid to tell or pressured to say the usual sales pitch. Even after your children our there.
I would have to say that it is not a safe environment for kids. I would not, do not leave my children there. 16 kids (2 or 3 years old) or more and only 2 adults. No way!
Variety - excellent variety of exercise. All kinds of training. 2 basketball courts, yoga, table tennis, a whole floor of tread mills, bikes, Stairmasters, etc. Very good.
Weight room is good.
There is a lot of problems. I guess the pay must be bad. There are very few qualified people there and too many that are not!
There is more but sorry,,, I have to go
In closing, a lot of potential but falls way short. Could be a great place but too many unqualified staff. Management. Too settle in... They simply try to improve things a little but miss the boat.
Management and staff need a shake down. Yes, lets start anew. Yes, it could be a great place. Lets go for it!!! Bye
Oh! Another problem. Please have someone take care of the elderly and the homeless. Sometimes these people have potty accidents but don't realize... Its a real "turn off"!
