The chorus performs music evoking aspects of nature, from thunder clouds and flashing lightning to lyrical passages of peace and beauty. Dvorak’s 'In Nature', Hindemith’s 'Six Chansons', Schubert choruses including 'Gott in der Natur' for women and piano, three Elizabethan madrigals and a new piece by local composer Patricia Van Ness, 'Temple of Nature', which was specially commissioned for the chorus. The program also includes a selection of Grieg's Lyric Pieces by pianist Eric Mazonson.
