Planting Potatoes

One potato, two potato, three potato, four! Let's read a story about potatoes. Then we will head out to the garden to dig in the dirt and prepare the soil. Did you know that you plant a potato to grow potatoes? We will plant red and yellow potatoes, maybe even blue. All ages welcome, up to three children per adult. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, though please mention these… Show more participants when registering. The fee for children between the ages of 12 and 17 months is half the regular fee. Mass Audubon family memberships must be current to receive member rates; please consider joining when registering. Things You Should Know: -Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of the visitors and the animals we care for. -Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. -Programs include time indoors, as well as outside, and will run rain or shine; please come dressed comfortably for our outdoor adventures!
