NME, the Tufts New Music Ensemble, continues its adventurous series of concerts with electro-acoustic works, new music for old instruments, works of minimalism and maximalism, and the continuing drama of original NME music-theater production of “Joe, the Plumber.” A performance of Alvin Lucier’s 1967 classic “I Am Sitting in a Room” will take place, along with work of special guest violinist Michelle Makarski.
