While the North End is famous as the place to go for traditional Italian food, parking is impossible and the streets are filled with tourists. Happily, Hanover Street exists in other neighborhoods. One is Medford, where you'll find Bocelli's on a street that's also home to an Italian bakery and market. Bocelli's is a real red-sauce restaurant with old-school cuisine. Ravioli are thick, king-size pillows with herbed ricotta; pizza has a thin, crisp crust and the right proportions of cheese to sauce. Leave the tiramisu, take the cannoli.
