The Comedy Studio in Harvard Square has cemented its reputation as the area's top laugh lab. It's also earned a solid reputation among industry heavyweights as a "must-visit" club for anyone seeking cutting-edge performers or writers for future television projects. The Comedy Studio - no better breeding ground around.
The Comedy Studio was formed when a bunch of comedians looked around the industry and thought, "We could add a new twist to this". Sometimes that means new talent, sometime it's veterans pushing their boundaries. We assume more from the audience, and we demand more from ourselves. The casual, open, atmosphere of the Studio is the place where fresh talent is discovered and where national headliners come to try out their new material and polish up the old.
The Comedy Studio Week begins on Tuesdays when The Mystery Lounge magically appears. Wednesday nights are hosted by our Spankin' Fresh Comedy Showcase. Thursday night, local comedians Myq Kaplan and Micah Sherman host the "Myq and Micah Club." Friday and Saturday night showcase the best of our Comedy Studio Comics. Sunday night rounds out the week with Erin Judge Presents...
Whichever night you choose to fill a seat, you're sure to see something unique, and you're sure to be entertained.
Ticket prices are $8 on Wednesdays, Thursday and Sunday. Fridays and Saturdays are $10. $10 on Tuesdays.
All shows start at 8pm. Doors open at 7:30pm

If I could give this fewer stars, I would. Apparently they don't let in single women by themselves. I was really psyched to see the Fresh Faces show tonight but was turned away at the door. The guy there insisted that the door doesn't open until 7:30, but it was well after that, but he said he couldn't confirm the time because his phone was upstairs. So now I am going to spend my evening writing bad reviews about this place everywhere I can.

3 flights of stairs to a small room filled with comics laughing at comics. Certainly not like the Connection or other clubs in Boston.

This is easily the best place to see comedy in all of Boston, if not all of New England.
