'The Informers" takes place in Los Angeles in 1983, and the first question that may come to mind is: Why bother? What new lesson or anti-lesson can be gleaned from the soulless hedonism of the synth-drum decade, especially as it concerns the rich, the beautiful, and those who pretend to love them? (Full review)
