Like a lot of people getting deeper into their 50s, filmmaker Mark Wexler has been thinking about death lately. More to the point, he’s been wondering about how to age properly, whether you can put death off, and would you even want to? The result of this mild midlife crisis is “How to Live Forever,’’ a cheerfully rambling documentary that’s much more thought-provoking than the sum of its parts. Anyone who stands to get old - which is all of us, last time I checked - would benefit from seeing it.
