"1,000 Mugs for South Africa" Holiday Show & Sale
Before she died of cancer in 2008, Marlene Nelson wanted to make and sell a thousand mugs, and use the proceeds to support public education in the township of Khethani, South Africa, Thanks to her friends and colleagues at Harvard's Ceramics Program, her vision is becoming a reality.
