More than six years after his restaurant was destroyed by fire-related damage, Taso Kapsaskis is back with his Greek specialties, and they are Olympian in quality and quantity. Taso’s Euro-Cafe has reopened in an unlikely spot: a building on the grounds of the Norwood Airport. Look at it this way: There’s plenty of parking. Try the spinach pie, baked lamb (Thursdays through Saturdays only), the souvlaki, gyros, and bountiful Greek salads. The pastichio is a rich version of lasagna, with a thick and creamy bechamel sauce on top. Don’t miss the baklava, kataifi, or milfae baked by Taso’s wife, Maroula. Zeus is surely smiling on this place. (Bella English, Globe staff | October 18, 2007)

Taso's Euro-Cafe

It was the best place in Quincy and it was terrible when we lost them due to a crappy hideous Chinese place next door having a fire.
Went 3 times to the new place. I LOVE IT. This is the best Greek food around. If I were going to take a break from being a vegetarian my first choice would be the lamb I used to get at this place.
Well worth a visit and kid friendly.

since the review in the globe, tasos has been so busy because people finaly are introduced to real greek home cooking. weekends are really busy so give yourself some extra time, sometimes there is no wait and other times there is an hour wait. even if the wait was 2 hours it would be worth it. i highly recomend the baked lamb, spinach pie, pastichio and souvlakia. my family and i enjoyed it so much we make it a weekly visit, and taso comes out to greet you like your part of his family.

My family and I entered the restaurant on a Saturday night. No one greeted us as we entered and when we asked someone behind the counter they indicated that the counter was for takeout only. Finally we were seated at a table for 4 (there were 5 of us) and left there for 15 minutes. We finally approached the counter again and asked about menus. We were told there were no menus left and were handed a pen. After questioning again we were finally handed menus. We waited another 20 minutes with no service, and finally got up to ask if we could get some service. We got up to leave and no one even noticed. There were 2 tables next to us that received the same (non)service. The food might be great - but we'll never know.
