Del Amitri

Scottish soft-rockers Del Amitri first emerged in the wake of the Postcard Records "Sound Of Young Scotland" scene. After an album of relatively pedestrian 1980s indie, their label Chrysalis dropped them. The band reemerged with a more robust, mainstream sound on a new label, A&M, and enjoyed considerable commercial success, if not critical acclaim.
