Jack DeJohnette

DeJohnette came on the scene in the '60s, playing with John Coltrane, Charles Lloyd, Thelonious Monk, Keith Jarrett, and others. In 1969 he played on Miles Davis 's BITCHES BREW. In the '70s he became virtually a session drummer for ECM Records, recording with Jan Garbarek, John Abercrombie and others. With Abercrombie and Dave Holland, he formed the trio Gateway.
