This Dutch heavy metal quartet was formed in 1979 by Ronald van Prooijen (lead vocals) and Jan Bechtum (guitar). With the addition of bass player Rinus Vreugdenhil and drummer Laurens ‘Bakkie’ Bakker, they modelled themselves on British bands, most noticeably Uriah Heep, Deep Purple and Motörhead. They went through numerous line-up changes during their seven-year, seven-album career, but produced consistently high-quality material throughout. Vocalists included Shmoulik Avigal (b. The band folded in 1987, but the original quartet played a one-off reunion concert in Sliedrecht the following year.
