Eric Burdon

After his tenure with the Animals was over at the end of the 1960s, Eric Burdon joined forces with the L.A. funk band War and cut two successful albums with them, one of which spawned the hit single "Spill the Wine." During a large European tour in '70, Burdon parted ways with the band, who went on to have a flourishing career without him.
