Sunday Morning Worship Service

We invite you to worship with us Sunday mornings to hear the Gospel message, raise your voice in song, and share in the fellowship of a welcoming Christian community.

We offer the sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome at our table. Our nursery is open for attended childcare during the service. Fellowship time and refreshments follow all services.

We extend a warm welcome to all, whatever your age, culture, economic status, gender and gender expression, language, nationality, physical or mental ability, race or sexual orientation. Beneficent Church is an Open and Affirming congregation. Our Meeting House and fellowship rooms are fully accessible (elevator at main entrance off parking lot).

Beneficent Congregational Church is a member of the United Church of Christ. We have a long history of social justice within Providence and beyond. From American independence to the antislavery movement, racial justice, and care for the poor, Beneficent has always been an activist church, responding to social needs.
