Festival Of Dance--presented by Brown University TAPS

This year’s Festival makes history with a series of first and lasts, from Daniel Squire’s final nod to Merce Cunningham to the new work of New Works/World Traditions— with pieces by choreographers Brian Reeder (ABT), professor Bach-Coulibally, Salimatou Soumare (Mali), and Gao Yanjinzi (Beijing Modern Dance Co.). Also the explosive Battleworks Etude by Robert Battle, artistic director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Explore the arts’ ability to mobilize people and inspire change.
