Both use their skill to capture what’s in a mind. Yes, you see a vessel, a tree or field. But there is no question that both artists are telling a larger story. Someone is always there just out of sight, or inclusive of the image. What makes these two so exceptional at their craft is the richness of story they bring to nature and the inanimate.
