PowerPoint Basics

Need to put together a presentation using PowerPoint, but not sure how to begin? Get equipped with the skills to do the job with PowerPoint Basics at this free hands-on class.
Learn how to put text and pictures on slides, use transitions and apply design templates. An overview of PowerPoint will be provided, including an explanation of when you would use this program, and then participants will create their own mini-presentation. The class will also cover how to print handouts and run a presentation, will show some of the cool features available to more advanced users.
Participants should be able to use a mouse and keyboard and have some familiarity with Windows XP. The class will cover PowerPoint 2003, not 2007; however, tips will be given on how to apply the skills learned in this session when working in 2007.
