Trio Balkan Strings is a guitar-playing family (father Zoran Starcevic and his two sons) from Belgrade. Its original instrumental music is a cultural glomeration of regional musical traditions, something the group calls "Balkan swing jazz guitar-world fusion." No doubt their playing is a lot more dexterous than that label, especially when they break out their trademark "six hands on one guitar" display. -Stuart Munro, Globe Correspondent
