June 2012 Somerville Arts Council Salon Series: Zines
Wednesday, Jun 27, 2012 7:30p
to
9:00p
Personal zine creator Marissa Falco will discuss how her recent zine projects have been shaped by journalism and design training. Librarian and author Alana Kumbier talk about how zines can help build communities around libraries and archives, based on her experience with zine-librarianship at Wellesley College and her participation in the Queer Zine Archive Project.
As an added bonus, Papercut Zine Library will have a table, and…we’ll have a zine swap! Bring along a few copies of your zine!
