Rootbound: Celebrating the Life of English folk dance in North America

Monday, Jul 15, 2013 7:30p

We celebrate our successful harvest (one basil plant) with a dance step or two, which makes us an honorary morris dancer. This traditional English folk dance associated with seasonal and harvest rituals has been around since the 1400s. "Rootbound" features choreography from Maple Morris and Morris Offspring. - June Wulff, Globe Staff
