Fantastic Place

I've been going to Redbones for years and have nothing but praise. The food is phenomenal and the only authentic BBQ you will find in Boston. In addition, they have an excellent beer selection that is always being updated. The atmosphere is fun, lively, and can be enjoyed by all. A great "community" feel whether it is your first time or 100th time.

Redbones thumbs down

I been to red bones and the food was not that good . the staff not friendly ribs over cooked the beef ribs were like rubber and the pork ribs were just plain to me nothing special I could do a better job .If you want really good ribs and a great deal drive the extra 15 minutes to Uncle Pete's Hickory Ribs - 72 Squire Road Revere MA 02151 - the owner very friendly also the staff the food was out of the world ribs a+ both beef and pork . the brunt end pork was awsome the corn bread was a double a ++ moist not dry the my wife is not a pork eater she loved there pull pork once to go here you will never go back to red bones

What a bahhhgain!

This is a great spot with 24 micro beers on tap. The food is very good and reasonably cheap. I have been to Memphis and other great Bar-b-q cities and found the food here to be as good if not better. the staff is also very pleasant and attentive. I suggest going at off hour times, because the place gets busy.

A Redbone to pick

If you are looking for the kind of BBQ you could find in any second-rate joint in North Carolina or Virginia (for twice the price), then Redbones is the place for you. If you are longing for really good BBQ--and there is some north of the Mason-Dixon line (Dinosaur comes to mind)--don't waste your time or money.

Redbones

Where else can you get a great bowl of soup for 2 bucks? A can of beer for 2 buck or some of the best small brewery beers in the country. It has the best menu in the area. Heaps of ribs or a great grilled chicken salad, mashed potatoes like mom used to make. Great cocktails are the norm.
My favorite thing is the great women bartenders that grace the place. The guys are ok.
This place has more bang for the buck than anyplace on either side of the Charles River.
