So a dish walks into a bar: Lobster, risotto, and lamb heart meatballs are taking the place of onion rings, fries, and mozzarella sticks at Boston's watering holes

Once upon a time, bars were for drinking and restaurants were for eating. Beer nuts, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks were the middle ground. Bar food was there for you when you needed it, but you didn’t go out of your way to get it.

Not at all the same restaurant two wks later

I was struck by Devra First's stating how the restaurant noticed 'all the details'. Two weeks after this review nothing like this matched my experience. How about a waiter that forgets to ask us for coffee. How about the recommended pork chop that was literally raw on one side and had to be returned. How about a parking lot that says " only for 120 Beacon, all others towed...So we didnt park there and then are told.."oh...you can use that". Finally, luke warm food . On the bright side, the speciality cocktails and wine's by the glass were superb. I ordered a ' Rob Roy ' that was perfection. Kudo's to the bar...thats' the only reason to return unfortunately. Devra...put on a disguise and go back...see if your experience is different.
