Guys On Ice! The Ice Fishing Musical

From their ice fishing shanty, long-time pals Lloyd and Marvin keep warm with a mutual appreciation for good bait, cold beer, and the Green Bay Packers. As Marvin anxiously awaits his opportunity to appear on a cable TV fishing show and share secrets of his life on da' lake, Lloyds ponders a recent squabble with his wife concerning plans to spend their anniversary at Lambeau Field. Both pals scramble to protect their cold ones from fellow angler, Ernie the Moocher.

Originally written as a joint production of The American Folklore Theater and The Milwaukee Repertory Theater, GUYS ON ICE! The Ice Fishing Musical made its debut at Ephraim Village Hall in Door County, Wisconsin in 1998. With book and lyrics by Fred Alley and music by James Kaplan, this hilarious musical comedy has played to sold-out houses from Madison to Milwaukee and from Detroit to Ashland, Oregon.

Directed by Jason Southerland, the acclaimed artistic director of Boston Theatre Works, this production will have you laughing all the way home! Perfect entertainment for the entire family. With Joe Delgado as Music Director and Ilyse Robbins as Choreographer, the cast features Cory Scott as Marvin, Bill Stambaugh as Lloyd, and Bill Gardiner as Ernie the Moocher. The creative team also includes designers Jenna McFarland (sets), Molly Trainer (costumes), Jeff Adelberg (lights) and Ric Shapero (sound).

Preview Performance tickets are $32 adult, $28 senior and $16 student for Thursday January 11 at 7:30pm, Friday January 12 at 8pm and Saturday January 13 at 4pm.
